What is mindfulness and meditation?  

Mindfulness is a mental state and practice that involves being fully present and engaged in the present moment without judgment or labels. It is often associated with meditation and draws inspiration from various contemplative traditions, including Buddhist teachings. Mindfulness encourages individuals to pay attention to their thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment with a non-reactive and accepting attitude.
